Here are some reminders and announcements to help our MCIS Family stay organized this week:
'Tis the season for sickness. Help protect your holiday plans (and our school family) by joining us in encouraging students to wash their hands thoroughly and frequently, as well as using good hygiene in general (coughing and tissue etiquette, etc.) Washing and sanitizing jackets, backpacks, and other items may also be helpful.
NTI days 6-10 packets should be coming home at the end of the week. Be on the lookout for those. Students should have NTI 1 and 2 completed at this point. Remember that they get 5 in-person school days as a deadline to complete NTI work after the snow day.
Don't forget that students who wish to purchase Christmas presents from the Reindeer Lane shop can do so during Related Arts this week. These materials were sent home last week.
Students will take their iReady tests Wednesday 12/10 and Thursday 12/11 this week. Thank you for your help getting kids to school on time for this important diagnostic assessment.
Next week, on Thursday 12/18, there will be a 3rd grade music program at 6 pm.
Christmas Break starts with a 1 pm dismissal on Friday 12/19. Students will return to school on Monday 1/5.
