It's been a great week at MCIS! It was so nice to see our visitors for Veterans' Day,
Thank you to all our students who were able to bring in food drive items.
If your student is missing a clothing item, please encourage them to check the lost & found area in their hallway, as the clothing racks are overflowing from the colder days.
Information has been posted/sent home about the PTO fundraiser, starting 11/17, selling turkey feathers. The "winning" teacher will be wearing an inflatable turkey costume on the last day before Thanksgiving Break!
The 5th grade field trip is this coming week, on Tuesday 11/18. Congrats as well to the 5th grade class that was recognized that day for high attendance as well.
On December 1, there will be a yoga class after school, sponsored by FRYSC. Please check your student's backpack if you haven't yet seen the paper for this event and are interested. It is limited to the first 18 students who sign up, due to limited number of mats.
Please make a habit of checking your student's backpack for materials from teachers, as well as any potential chronicles they may have received for behavior. If you are still having issues using the Mason County Schools app, please reach out to the school or district for assistance as it is has been fully functional for some time now. Teachers may be sending and posting important classroom and behavioral information via the app, so it is important that guardians be connected there.
