Thanks to all our families and students for their support during my transition this week! I'm so happy to be here! Here are some news updates for the week ahead at our school!
On Monday, a small group of 5th grade students will perform at the school board meeting as a preview of the Veterans' Day program. Please watch for a message from Mr. Calhoun as an invitation.
The 5th grade cooking class will be held after school Monday as well, for those who signed up.
Monday is also the FRYSC Movie Night in the downtown gym at 6 pm. Families can call 606-564-5683 to sign up.
On Tuesday, the Veterans' Day program will be held at 9 am. All veterans and 5th grade parents are invited to attend.
NTI packets have been sent home with all students, with today being the deadline to do so. If your family has not received any NTI work, please contact the teacher.
After-school tutoring continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4 pm.
We would also like to share the information about the districtwide food drive going on now. Please see the graphic below for more information.
Looking ahead, Thanksgiving Break is November 26-28.
